The business you would be running
A ClanClean store handles nine services: dry cleaning, laundry by kilo, premium laundry, steam ironing, shoe cleaning, curtain cleaning, carpet cleaning, helmet cleaning and leather cleaning. Wash and fold starts at ₹90 per kilo, wash and steam iron at ₹130, and premium laundry at ₹190, with dry cleaning priced per garment.
Turnaround is 24 hours for steam ironing, 48 hours for laundry and 72 hours for dry cleaning. Every garment moves through the same six stages, which is what you would be trained to run and what your staff would be held to:
- Sorting and inspectionEvery item read against its care label, sorted by fabric, colour and construction, then tagged to the order.
- Stain identification and hand spottingMarks treated individually, before cleaning, with a solution matched to both the stain and the fabric.
