Who we are

ClanClean is a laundry and dry cleaning service in Delhi, with outlets in Laxmi Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Sarvapriya Vihar. This policy explains what the ClanClean mobile app collects about you, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Your name, mobile number and email address when you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name, email address and profile picture held on that Google account.

We also store the pickup and delivery addresses you save, and the history of the pickups and orders you place with us.

Location

The app asks for your location only while it is open, and only when you ask us to check whether we serve your area. We turn the coordinates into an address so we can match it against our service radius.

We do not track your location in the background. You can refuse the permission, or withdraw it later in your phone settings, and the rest of the app continues to work.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can tell you when a pickup is confirmed, an order is ready, or a bill is raised. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone settings.

Diagnostics

We use Google Firebase to collect crash reports and basic usage analytics. This is how we find and fix problems in the app.

How we use your information

To schedule and confirm pickups, deliver your order, raise and settle bills, keep you updated about orders you have placed, and check whether your address falls inside our service area.

Where it is stored

On Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics and Analytics — and in the order management system our stores use. Google processes this data on our behalf.

Who sees it

The staff and riders handling your order see your name, phone number and address, because they need them to collect and deliver your garments.

Payments

The app does not take card payments. Paying by UPI opens your own UPI app, so your banking credentials are never entered into the ClanClean app and are never seen by us.

Deleting your account

Open Settings in the app and choose Delete my account. That removes your profile, your saved addresses and your access to the account.

Billing records for completed orders are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the effective date shown above and, where the change is a significant one, tell you in the app.
