Why Professional Curtain Cleaning Matters

A domestic machine cannot do this job properly, and washing curtains at home usually causes the damage people are trying to avoid.

• Weight and water. A lined curtain absorbs several times its dry weight. Home drums cannot agitate that volume, so the middle of the panel never really gets clean.
• Shrinkage is permanent. Cotton and linen drapes shrink in hot water, and a curtain two inches short is a curtain you replace. We dry clean rather than wash, so dimensions hold.
• Linings and headings. Blackout linings, buckram headings and pinch pleats distort when soaked and tumbled. Solvent cleaning keeps the structure and the hang.
• Dust is embedded, not loose. Delhi dust binds with airborne oils into a film that vacuuming lifts off the surface but not out of the weave.

2. We collect the curtains from your home anywhere in East or South Delhi. Tell us when you book if you would like help unhooking them.
3. We dry clean them with fabric-safe methods, removing dust, odours and stains, then press the pleats and headings.
4. We deliver them back ready to hang, on hangers so the pressing survives the journey. Your return date is confirmed on WhatsApp the same day you book.

A practical tip: book curtains for a weekday morning slot and they are back before the weekend, so no room is left bare for long.
