A domestic iron presses with dry heat and direct pressure. That is what causes the two problems everyone recognises: a shiny patch across the shoulders or seat of dark trousers, and a permanent crease ironed into the wrong place.
Steam pressing works differently. Pressurised steam relaxes the fibres first, so the fabric releases its wrinkles and is then set flat with a Teflon-coated press that does not scorch or glaze the surface. The result is shine-free, and it lasts longer — a steam-pressed shirt still looks crisp at the end of a Delhi workday.
It is also gentler over the life of a garment. Dry heat gradually weakens fibres and dulls colour, particularly on synthetics and blends. Steam does the work at a lower surface temperature.
Each garment is pressed by hand, one at a time, with proper attention to collars, cuffs, plackets and pleats — then checked before it is packed. Anything that falls short goes back through the press rather than out for delivery.

No. We use a Teflon-coated steam press rather than a dry iron. Glazing on dark trousers and jacket lapels comes from a hot dry plate in direct contact with the fabric; steam and a coated plate avoid it.
Yes, including pleated and embroidered pieces. They are pressed around the embroidery rather than over it, and returned on hangers. Saree steam ironing is ₹60 at Laxmi Nagar and a lehenga is ₹300, both after the 20% discount. Premium Laundry includes a steam-iron finish. Laundry by Kg is washed, dried and folded — add steam ironing if you want it pressed too, or send it as wash & steam iron from ₹120 per kg.

Yes. Silk is pressed inside out on a low setting with a cloth between the iron and the fabric, and no steam is put on the zari, which spots it. Border and pallu first, then the body in long strokes along the length. A saree press is ₹60 at our Laxmi Nagar outlet and comes back in 24 hours; our saree care guide explains how to do it at home too.
If the suit is clean but creased, a press is enough and costs about a third of a clean: ₹110 for a two-piece suit at our Laxmi Nagar outlet, back in 24 hours; prices may vary, so confirm the current rate with the outlet. Across East and South Delhi, yes. We have outlets in Laxmi Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Sarvapriya Vihar, with Vasant Kunj opening in October 2026, and a rider collects from your door between 10 am and 9 pm, seven days a week.
