Dry cleaning is not washing. Instead of water and detergent, garments are cleaned in a solvent that lifts oil-based soiling — body oils, food marks, perfume residue — without swelling the fibres. That is why a wool blazer keeps its shape and a silk saree keeps its drape, where a home machine would shrink or dull them.

Yes. We use gentle, eco-friendly solvents and fabric-specific settings, so silk, chiffon and other delicates are cleaned without shrinkage or fading. Delicate and embroidered pieces are hand-spotted individually rather than machine-treated.
Yes — sarees, lehengas, sherwanis and heavy suits are a large part of what we handle. A saree is ₹230 and a matching blouse ₹60 at Laxmi Nagar; a lehenga is ₹1,000. Bridal and embroidered pieces get individual fabric inspection and delicate hand-spotting so zardosi, sequins and silk are protected rather than flattened. Often, yes. Stains are identified and hand-treated before cleaning, which is when they are most likely to lift. If a mark is permanent we will tell you rather than promise a result we cannot deliver.

Dry cleaning is charged per piece and uses solvent rather than water, which is what suits, sarees, silks and woollens need. A circle on the care label means dry clean; a tub with a cross means never use water. With no label, treat silk, wool, viscose and anything lined or embroidered as dry clean, and wash plain cotton, linen, polyester and denim. Our dry clean vs wash guide has a garment-by-garment table with prices.
Often, not always. Every marked garment goes to the spotting board before the solvent wash and is treated by stain type — solvent for oil, a water-based spotter for tea and food, an enzyme for blood and sweat. A stain that has been through a hot wash or an iron may have changed the fibre itself, and we tell you honestly at the counter what we expect to come out. Sherwanis and heavily worked bridal pieces are priced on inspection, because the embroidery, lining and stain treatment decide the work involved. Every wedding garment is spotted by hand before it is cleaned and packed on a hanger for storage. Prices may vary — please confirm the current rate with the outlet before booking.
Wrapped in muslin or unbleached cotton, never plastic, lying flat on a lined shelf out of direct light, and refolded every three months so the zari does not crack on the fold.
