What Makes Our Dry Cleaning Different

Dry cleaning is not washing. Instead of water and detergent, garments are cleaned in a solvent that lifts oil-based soiling — body oils, food marks, perfume residue — without swelling the fibres. That is why a wool blazer keeps its shape and a silk saree keeps its drape, where a home machine would shrink or dull them.

Four things we do not compromise on:

• Individual inspection. Every item is checked against its own care label before any treatment is chosen. Trims, beadwork and linings are noted, and anything that needs hand attention is set aside.
• Stain treatment before cleaning, not after. Marks are identified and hand-spotted one at a time with solutions matched to the fabric, because once a stain has been through a full cycle it is far harder to lift.
• Your order on its own cycle. We never combine your garments with a neighbour’s to fill a machine. It is the single most common cause of dye transfer and greying whites at cheaper laundries.
• Machinery certified against colour loss and shrinkage, with eco-friendly solvents that are gentler on fibres and on the people handling them.

Finishing matters just as much. Each piece is hand-pressed with attention to collars, cuffs and pleats, checked a final time, then packed folded, on a hanger or vacuum-sealed depending on what it is.

What We Dry Clean

If it carries a dry-clean-only label, it belongs with us. In practice our Delhi orders divide into four groups:

• Indian and occasion wear. Sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, anarkalis and heavy suits. Bridal and embroidered pieces get individual fabric inspection and delicate hand-spotting, so zardosi, sequins, silk and colour-vibrant dyes are protected rather than flattened.

How Does Dry Cleaning at Clan Clean Work?

It takes about thirty seconds to book, and we handle everything after that:

1. Schedule a pickup on this form, on WhatsApp, or by calling +91 9355 774 775. Choose the slot that suits you — we run from 10 am to 9 pm.
2. We collect from your door, usually within 60 to 90 minutes of your chosen slot during working hours. Each item is counted and tagged in front of you.
3. Our front desk confirms your return date on WhatsApp the same day you book, so you are never guessing. You get an itemised bill for every order.
4. We clean — inspection, hand-spotting, solvent cleaning matched to the fabric, hand pressing, then a final check.
5. We deliver back to the same address, folded or on hangers, on the date you were given.

How Long Does Dry Cleaning Take, and What Does It Cost?

Standard turnaround is 72 hours for dry cleaning and dry clean with starch. Steam ironing is our fastest service at 24 hours, and washed laundry comes back in 48.

Need it sooner? Express is available at 2× the standard price, always confirmed with you before we take the garment — in by 4 pm for same-day, after 4 pm for next-day.

On cost, we would rather be plain than clever:

• Dry cleaning starts at ₹90 per piece with the 20% discount included (a shirt is ₹110, a 2-piece suit ₹335); blanket dry cleaning from ₹275 for a single blanket. These are Laxmi Nagar rates — slightly higher at our South Delhi outlets. Every rate is published on our Price List.
• 20% off every order — not just your first. The discounted column is the rate you get on your tenth order as much as your first.
• Free pickup and delivery on orders above ₹500.
• You are told the exact amount before we take your clothes, and every order gets its own itemised bill. Nothing is added afterwards.

Heavier or unusual items — carpets, oversized curtains — are quoted before pickup rather than guessed at, so there is no surprise at delivery.
